The Importance of Being “Media Agnostic”

Video Ad News recently interviewed MediaMath Co-Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Erich Wasserman, in sunny Cannes.

Erich discusses the importance of advertising technology companies being “media agnostic” and explains why the combination of media buying technology with media selling within one organization poses a conflict of interest for marketers. Erich says that, “the most interesting conversations are between the agencies and the brand advertisers – and with our positioning in the eco-system, we have an obligation to give the best possible access to that media.”
