MediaMath, a digital media buying platform, will open its a regional office in Singapore to aid further expansion into the APAC market.
Over the past three years, MediaMath established and grew its presence in APAC. In a press statement, the company said: “As one of the fastest growing markets globally, and a key focus for MediaMath’s business, the decision to open a regional office in Singapore, a hub for the APAC digital advertising industry, was the logical next step.”
Erich Wasserman, co-founder and newly appointed global chief revenue officer, who led the EMEA and APAC organisation for the past three years said the new regional office will allow the team to work closely with APAC clients.
“The appointment of a strong local team – that combines experienced MediaMath talent with new hires – will ensure that clients have on-the-ground support from individuals with first-hand experience of MediaMath’s TerminalOne Marketing Operating System and industry expertise,” Wasserman added.
He added that the team already has a number new client relationships in the pipeline for 2014, though the company did not reveal these.
