Key Responsibilities 
As a technical writer, you'll cultivate an understanding of our clients and partners and their needs. You'll become an expert in how media traders and developers use MediaMath to meet their business goals, translate that into content, and ensure that these resources are delivered to them in the most effective way. 

Technical writers create how-tos, tutorials, references, and troubleshooting resources for MediaMath clients and partners. In addition, they manage the structure, information architecture, and overall presentation of these resources. Your mission is to enable our clients and partners to grow their businesses through self-serve content, and you'll play a foundational role in helping both MediaMath and its clients and partners achieve business goals. 

Recent projects we’ve worked on include: 

  • Relaunching our API content in Spotlight, our API CMS 
  • Building technical documentation on how to sample new ORTB bid request elements 
  • Organizing case study content library with our marketing team 

You will: 

  • Write amazingly clear, inspirational, context-rich, and actionable content, including documents, guides, and technical articles, for our clients  
  • Write, review, revise, and maintain content for developers integrating with our REST API framework 
  • Communicate complex concepts and information in a way that is engaging and understood by novices 
  • Work with product managers, developers, user experience researchers, designers, and our clients and partners to understand what information is necessary for our clients and partners to be successful 
  • Research and test new and existing functionality in the MediaMath platform to inform the content production 
  • Design and develop new content and update existing content 
  • Conduct content reviews and evaluate the effectiveness of our content 
  • Establish content practices for a growing, global technology team  
  • Publish and maintain our style guides and develop templates for content produced by others to ensure a consistent identity and tone

  • A writer who wants to learn about technology, use it, explain it, and help improve it 

You have: 

  • Technical curiosity and a love of language 
  • Experience making technical jargon actionable for various audiences 
  • Passion and motivation to work as a team player 
  • Strong skills in problem solving and critical thinking 
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Ability to visualize, illustrate and clearly communicate operational data flows and supporting processes  
  • Technical API experience (highly desirable, not essential) 
  • Knowledge of SQL or related technologies (desirable, not essential)
