MediaMath seeks a Product Manager to join our Activate team. The Activate product team at builds optimization and bidding products that inform how our clients spend their marketing budgets in our platform. We're responsible for both the UI and backend components of these features and are at the center of MediaMath's commitment to performance, transparency, and automation. 

You will apply machine learning across various areas of our the MediaMath Platform. This includes algorithms that drive business outcomes for advertisers, algorithms that help predict supply pricing and performance, as well optimization tools that simplify and automate ongoing campaign management in the MediaMath platform. Recently, this role has released an machine learning driven automation layer that has significantly saved time for programmatic media buyers while driving better KPI performance for advertisers.  

You will: 

  • Illuminate and drive MediaMath’s strategic vision for our proprietary algorithmic and optimization products and align our product offering around that vision 
  • Partner with the Data Science team to harness cutting edge research in machine learning 
  • Collaborate with product, engineering and cross-functional teams on the development, QA, and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization  
  • Monitor and optimize team progress on a regular basis to ensure delivery of committed functionality  
  • Work collaboratively with internal stake holders to launch, market, and support new products and features  
  • Work with user research to collect product feedback and then use that feedback to advance the product offering  
  • Partner with product marketing to create product documentation and demos new product features  
  • Manage support issues for both internal and external stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction  

You have: 

  • BA/BS; MS preferred - ideally within Mathematics or Economics 
  • 3+ years of product management experience  
  • Understanding of machine learning and/or campaign optimization 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, design and execution of a multi-faceted product strategy 
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate with multiple parties involved in intricate, fast-moving projects with tight deadlines, and setting priorities  

It is beneficial if you have: 

  • Experience in Ad-tech/digital media/an advertising agency 
  • Strong understanding of the programmatic tech landscape including ad serving technology, RTB, DSP, SSP a plus  

 
You are: 

  • Experienced with Agile software development / Scrum methodology  
  • True self-starter - motivated by the need to get to an answer  
  • Highly analytical including the ability to use data to drive product decisions  
  • Exceptional communicator with strong presentation skills
