Key Responsibilities

The Financial Planning and Analysis team partners with internal clients across MediaMath with the goal of driving profitable growth and facilitating the success of the organization. 

We are looking for a Manager, FP&A who will drive budgeting and forecasting processes, performance measurement, decision support and business intelligence for a portfolio of our business units. Additionally, this individual will participate in broader strategic finance team projects and initiatives such as product pricing and analysis, systems and process improvement, shareholder/board reporting and procurement.

You will:

  • Develop relationships as a valued business partner to department leaders by providing financial analysis, business modeling and decision support with recommendations to solve and/or improve operational issues
  • Build/enhance/update the financial operating model of the company, including key drivers for P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow
  • Support strategic and operational planning processes 
  • Execute quick turnaround ad-hoc financial and operational analyses to inform strategies aimed at enhancing profitability and accelerating growth 
  • Provide analysis and interpretations of actual performance versus plan/forecast and assess the impact on future results
  • Ensure accurate reporting of all financial metrics and key performance indicators to senior management
  • Develop monthly and quarterly reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Continually improve the Company’s financial processes

You are:

  • Experienced with Budget Management tools & other performance related systems (NetSuite, Looker, SalesForce, Anaplan) a plus
  • Experienced with sales and revenue forecasting
  • Advanced with Excel modeling skills required & a genuine passion for finance & accounting required
  • Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excel at handling multiple tasks/stakeholders; sense of urgency and strong time management aptitude
  • Excellent communicator; specifically, strong listening and presentation

You have:

  • Aptitude for financial modeling as well as data analysis and reporting
  • 4+ years combined experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance or management consulting
  • Contemporary knowledge of finance best practices
  • AdTech, MarTech, or other experience in an entrepreneurial environment preferred
