Key Responsibilities:

MediaMath is currently seeking a Head of Publisher Development to represent MediaMath to and create partnerships with publishers throughout the world as part of MediaMath’s accountable, addressable, and aligned SOURCE ecosystem. In this high-visibility position, you will be responsible for managing the entire publisher program for MediaMath, reporting to the SVP of Ecosystem Partnerships.  This includes the development of a publisher approach and strategy, day-to-day management, providing cross-functional subject matter expertise for product requirements and management of a team to support the business function.


The ideal candidate is a well-regarded publisher development professional, experienced in deal-making as well as operational aspects of publisher monetization. The candidate should also have a solid working knowledge of the online advertising industry, strong quantitative skills, and a history of producing exceptional results. MediaMath is a fast-paced environment and is seeking someone self-motivated, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a team environment with little guidance. 


You will:

  • Define and execute a publisher-focused partnership strategy to benefit all parties
  • Create strategic partnerships with key publishers in the CTV space and other emerging media
  • Work closely with platform partnerships team to drive integrations and unique offerings
  • Partner with our commercial team to drive participation by publishers in buyer initiatives
  • Provide detailed specifications to Product, Engineering and other MediaMath teams in order to build tools and functionality supporting publisher needs
  • Develop, grow, and maintain strong publisher relationships throughout the industry
  • Represent MediaMath in publisher-focused trade groups and initiatives
  • Grow and develop a focused team of individuals dedicated to publisher solutions
  • Build and manage a pipeline of potential publishers within each region through the world

You are:

  • Experienced building and developing a team of individual focused on Publisher solutions
  • Experienced with publisher programmatic systems and the digital ad ecosystem
  • Collaborative and team-focused

You have:

  • 10 – 15 years of experience at a publisher in programmatic sales, programmatic revenue management, or in publisher development at an ad tech company
  • Ability to present effectively across multiple levels in an organization including C-level audiences, product, and technical teams, as well as sales and account teams
  • Extremely strong analytical skills with the ability to think creatively in terms of deal structure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong consultative sales skills
