Key responsibilities

The Finance Operations team is recruiting a Finance Operations Accountant to assist in the full billing processes. The Finance Operations Accountant will be attentive to detail and timelines. The candidate will also be focused on continuous improvement and problem solving. The Accountant will demonstrate great customer service and collaboration skills as s/he partners with clients and internal team members.

Additionally, the Accountant will participate in other general accounting tasks and projects such as preparing reporting, as well as Finance Operations Manager support.

You will:

  • Assign, prepare, and distribute client invoices and credits on monthly basis
  • Prepare and enter various journal entries, including accruals for month-end close
  • Prepare monthly account reconciliations and variance analysis for numerous clients
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and issues
  • Oversee, create, and manage new accounts and contract terms in our proprietary platform
  • Assist in providing audit support for quarterly and yearly audits (domestic and international)
  • Data gathering/entry, analysis & discrepancy management and build out process maps & documentation
  • Evaluate and manage discrepancies between external vendor invoices and internally tracked data
  • Liaise with internal supply management team, as well as external supply providers
  • Monthly accruals and close procedures

You have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
  • 1+ years of experience in billing, AR, account reconciliation and analysis
  • Salesforce experience
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with a client service-oriented attitude
  • Extremely organized with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  • The ability to handle multiple high-volume accounts simultaneously

You are:

  • Interested in leveraging accounting software and internal technology and tools to continuously improve operations and processes
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel and NetSuite (ideally)
  • Knowledgeable in accounting & finance and ideally have multi-currency experience
  • Ideally experienced in marketing and/or technology industry
