Real-time bidding (RTB) has led to tremendous innovation and scale in online marketing as well as a massive amount of data. Every day, MediaMath analyzes terabytes of data to deliver unprecedented insights that enhance clients’ marketing results. Recognizing the insights’ value across entire marketing organizations, including its own, MediaMath has been building a powerful open data platform on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS), enabling rapid prototyping and revolution.
At AWS re:Invent, which is taking place November 11-14, 2014, at the Venetian in Las Vegas, Nevada, Eddie Fagin, VP of Engineering, and Ian Hummel, Senior Director of Data Platform, will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the open data platform development and the impact it has had across MediaMath’s product teams, partners and clients.
During the session, which is scheduled to occur Thursday, November 13 at 5:30 p.m., Hummel and Fagin will discuss data liberation and the evolution of MediaMath’s open data platform. Previously siloed, MediaMath’s valuable data is now readily available for any engineering team seeking to build advanced lookalike models, optimization algorithms or marketing attribution models, substantially reducing the time — and cost — of innovation.
Session attendees will learn how to build scalable, complex data processing pipelines using Amazon Kinesis, Amazon EMR and Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3).
