ALBANY — Software company MediaMath Inc. will be the first private-sector tenant at 4 World Trade Center, Gov. Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio announced Monday.
The move will create 1,000 new jobs over the next five years, they said. De Blasio called MediaMath’s decision to place its headquarters downtown “another big step in the resurgence of lower Manhattan and the growth of New York City’s tech ecosystem.”
The company got a $5.8 million federally funded job creation and retention grant offered by the city and state.
