Key Responsibilities

MediaMath seeks an Account Executive with exceptional Brand relationships in North America and a proven history of closing complex, high-value deals in a competitive, dynamic, and evolving marketing space. As an Account Executive at MediaMath, you will be responsible for identifying and closing a list of key prospects that align with our ideal customer profile and working with pre-sales and marketing on new business strategy across North America.

You will:

  • Identify and close net new business opportunities which align with MediaMath ideal customer profile
  • Leverage a solution selling approach to identify your clients requirements and share the value proposition of MediaMath and how our solutions can create value for them
  • Take lead in responding to RFP’s and managing the process through to completion
  • Develop initial sales plan & solution design based on excellent business and functional diagnosis during the sales cycle that results in successful client on-boarding, and handover to the account teams
  • Work cross-functionally, communicating with and activating key business units within MediaMath to ensure a successful sales process
  • Develop an expert understanding of the market and respond quickly to opportunities to highlight MediaMath’s value proposition and differentiator in the market
  • Utilize sales software (e.g., Salesforce) to track pipeline, revenue forecasts, as a repository for client needs, and to for resource and product requests

 You are:

  • Able to communicate effectively with senior executives at Brand partners
  • A cross-functional team player who has experience with partnering with a variety of internal teams to help drive revenue
  • Able to creatively move complex deals forward by finding “win-win” scenarios and ensuring the clients full understanding of MediaMath’s competitive advance

 You have:

  • 3+ years within a new business development role at a SAAS or Adtech company
  • A history of hitting and exceeding revenue goals by adhering to a Customer-Focused Sales Methodology
  • Excellent communication skills; specifically, strong listening, negotiation, and presentation
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with decision-makers with a track record of retaining key clients
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with Solutions Engineers on key accounts to drive deals and influence
  • Solution-oriented and creative thinking skills to evaluate problems and to drive win-win outcomes
  • Effective project management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a methodical fashion
