Cyberagent Announces Alliance With US-Based MediaMath, A Leader in Demand Side Platforms (DSP)

TOKYO, Japan (September 7, 2011) – CyberAgent, Inc. (Head Office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Susumu Fujita; TSE Mothers Securities Code: 4751) announced today that it has concluded a distribution agreement for “TerminalOne” with MediaMath, a leading US-based company in demand side platforms (DSP)*1. With the conclusion of this agreement, CyberAgent will commence provision of this solution for the management of display advertisement bidding and online advertising campaigns.
MediaMath’s TerminalOne is an online campaign management platform. Geared toward online display advertisement, the solution facilitates the management of such advertisements on Google’s DoubleClick Ad Exchange, RightMedia’s RightMedia Exchange and other inventory sources. It also allows automated bidding management through an outstanding built-in algorithm*2. The adoption of this platform will enable companies to maximize the cost-effectiveness of online ad distribution.
MediaMath offers bidding, data management and analysis in the US market as a one-stop platform. It has yielded excellent results in meeting a wide variety of marketing needs, from branding to direct response, and is highly recognized by many companies. In addition to the US market, services have been provided in Europe since February 2011, making it possible for companies adopting TerminalOne in Japan to manage not only domestic online campaigns but also those in overseas markets.
CyberAgent will commence the provision of this service in Japan, where an expansion of this market is expected. Going forward, the company will continue to provide services for the maximization of advertising effectiveness.
*1: Demand side platform (DSP) is a tool for advertisers and advertising agencies, which allows the management of bidding and online campaigns across multiple ad exchange platforms. Ad exchange is a service that enables the consolidated online management and sales/purchase of ad spots on multiple inventory sources.
