Prior to joining MediaMath, Dan spent 19 years on Wall Street. He began his career advising consumer companies on M&A at Goldman Sachs. Dan spent two years working on brand divestures for Procter & Gamble, where he spent many hours learning how they think about brands, branding and consumer segments. After two years in investment banking, he held a variety of investing roles at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and JP Morgan. Dan spent many years managing retail and consumer focused equity funds, and most recently managed a credit portfolio within JPM’s Chief Investment Office. Dan has experience investing across a wide variety of instruments (stocks, bonds, all kinds of structured products, merger arbitrage, special situations), industries and in a number of market environments (LTCM financial scare, early tech boom and bust, recent financial crisis).
Dan holds a BA, summa cum laude, from Harvard University. Dan lives on Long Island with his wife, Nicole, and three children – Noah, Charlie and Emily.
