The inaugural YPO Digital, Marketing & Media Network’s Global Marketing Awards Showcase highlighted the best-in-class marketing and advertising by YPO and WPO members across the globe. Top honors were handed out to leading advertisers, agencies and media companies that drive significant, measurable results through innovation, creativity and execution.

“This was a terrific opportunity for network members to display highly creative and innovative campaigns from 2013 – the entries for this first year event were outstanding,” says showcase organizer Antony Barran of the YPO Santa Monica Bay Chapter. He is president of KDA Group.

Faction Media’s online campaign addressed a unique challenge; to effectively target females while driving engagement and sales opportunities for Lowe’s Home Improvement contractor network. By leveraging audience insights, Faction was able to develop humorous and relatable storylines for women who wanted to increase the energy efficiency of their homes. The campaign outperformed expectations yielding onsite engagement of 26 percent versus the stated goal of 15 percent for Lowe’s Professional Home Insulation installation services. Greves joined YPO in May 2012.

Pavone’s campaign for D.G. Yuengling & Son – America’s oldest brewery – analyzed current consumption trends and introduced a new light beer, Yuengling’s Light Lager, into the competitive market against the ‘Big 3’ (Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Light) while simultaneously increasing sales of the classic Yuengling Lager. Pavone joined YPO in August 2006.

For Business to Business, Dajani created the ‘Emall’ campaign for Lebanese merchants to streamline sales through the use of an online interface. For Business to Consumer, Dajani submitted ‘Novo by Bank Audi,’ an integrated program on self-service kiosks for banking transactions, including private banking and loan applications. He joined YPO in August 2010.

Zawadzki’s a multi-dimensional campaign, “Future is Counting on Us,” built brand awareness and showed the benefits and features of MediaMath’s TerminalOne Marketing Operating System. The system allows agencies and advertisers to plan, execute, optimize and analyze marketing programs across the digital landscape. He joined YPO in September 2012.

YPO’s Digital, Marketing & Media Network brings together more than 2,000 members for cutting-edge learning opportunities with other chief executives on fast-moving topics like mobile marketing, big data, and social marketing. They gather in small settings to master digital marketing basics; engage with experts on and offline about what’s working right now to drive sales, increase loyalty, and reach new audiences. The current network chair is Buddy Teaster, CEO of Souls4Soles. There are more than 50 YPO networks that help members connect around business, personal and philanthropic interests.
