We have recently launched SOURCE by MediaMath which provides our clients with the purest media supply to connect their brands with consumers: real impressions on real media properties; real humans connected to with real ads, at scale; and a true and trusted data set that enables machine learning and attribution at scale, across channels such as mobile, Connected TV, Digital Out of Home, and display.

Key responsibilities:

MediaMath seeks a business development leader with a proven history of closing complex, high-value deals in a competitive, dynamic, and evolving marketing space. This hands-on role will be responsible for designing and implementing MediaMath's new business development strategy for the US & Canada. You will deliver on regional revenue targets, provide continuous regional revenue/opportunity updates to the Chief Client Officer, identifying and closing a list of key prospects, and leading and growing a team of business development leaders and teams.

You will:

  • Take the lead in identifying and closing key regional business opportunities
  • Partnering with the Chief Client Officer, implement and execute on MediaMath's new business development strategy within the US and Canada
  • Ensure regional new business development targets are exceeded
  • Develop and implement commercial strategies according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth
  • Manage and coach a team of regional Business Development leads - develop goals, monitor targets, and provide strategic direction.
  • Partner with clients to design, iterate, and evolve joint, multi-year roadmaps that address client priorities and create value
  • Lobby for product initiatives and data/technology/supply integrations that can contribute to the success of the clients in your book of business
  • Identify and present plans for new market opportunities within your region

You have:

  • 5+ years of strategic business development experience, ideally in the online/digital/display advertising industry in outbound sales (preferably ad serving, data, exchanges, SaaS, or SEM). Experience in other SaaS models with knowledge of digital advertising business may be acceptable
  • Experience closing new business opportunities on a national level
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships throughout all levels of client organizations with a track record of retaining key clients
  • History of hitting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Strong listening, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.  Personable, charismatic, and positive
