MediaMath acquires Spree7

MediaMath has acquired Spree7, the premier independent digital consulting and programmatic implementation firm for German-speaking countries in Europe.

Founded in 2012 and with clients in Germany, Austria, Switzerland (DACH) and beyond, Spree7 has built its programmatic and social practice, including services, advanced reporting, analytics and workflow tools, on MediaMath’s TerminalOne platform.

Spree7 was founded in 2012 by PubliGroupe and MediaMath to address the growing demand for programmatic solutions in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2014 Swisscom acquired PubliGroupe in a public offer.

Spree7’s marquee clients include Swisscom group companies and it serves as a white label programmatic trading desk for more than 50 independent media agencies in the region.

 

Why Spree7

Given the German-speaking market’s fast adoption of programmatic technology, MediaMath’s acquisition of Spree7 will allow us to meet the needs of the market in providing local service for the world’s leading programmatic buying and data management platform, TerminalOne.

The German-speaking region has enormous potential for digital advertising, with the German digital market in particular – already the second largest in Europe. We have already worked extensively with Spree7 – with their clients using MediaMath’s TerminalOne almost exclusively.
