NEW YORK— Software company MediaMath, Inc. will relocate its headquarters to 4 World Trade Center (WTC), Governor Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio announced on July 21.

MediaMath, which currently has 300 employees, will consolidate its three Manhattan offices into the WTC. The company is expecting to create 1,000 jobs over the next five years.

“MediaMath’s move to 4 World Trade is yet another big step in the resurgence of Lower Manhattan and the growth of New York City’s tech ecosystem,” de Blasio said.

MediaMath, founded in 2007, is a global technology company with a revolutionizing approach to marketing. It was the first to introduce a demand-side platform (DSP).

“As a result of New York State’s vibrant tech sector and talented workforce, we are seeing companies with a global presence, like MediaMath, choose the Empire State as the place to invest in and grow their business,” Cuomo said.

MediaMath predicts it will add 200 jobs this year, and maintain a steady pace in the years after.

The move is supported by a $5.8 million investment that was federally funded by a Job Creation and Retention Program (JCRP) grant.

“MediaMath has experienced staggering growth over the past few years and this move is both momentous and rewarding ,” said Joe Zawadzki, CEO of MediaMath.
