MediaMath, the creator of the TerminalOne Marketing Operating System™ for digital marketers, was named No. 42 on Crain’s 2014 Best Places to Work in New York City, a program that identifies, recognizes, and honors businesses that are making significant contributions to New York City’s economy.

As a rapidly growing global company, MediaMath works hard to foster a culture driven by unique, inventive, and dedicated people. Through regular, company-wide meetings, an open-door policy with the executive team, flexible work arrangements, and unique recognition programs, the company strives to consistently showcase and recognize those demonstrating its core values.

“MediaMath’s inclusion on this list reflects our employees’ dedication to the company’s core values – Collaboration, Accountability, Performance, Empowerment and Scalable Innovation – that enable our clients to realize digital marketing success each and every day,” said Peter Phelan, Chief People Officer of MediaMath. “Through the collaborative culture we have fostered at MediaMath since our founding, they’ll continue to change the ecosystem and drive the evolution of marketing forward as they continue to flourish in their own careers.”

Companies from across New York City entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in New York City. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part involved an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Contracted independent research firm Best Companies Group supplied the data, and is responsible for the entire registration and survey process, analysis of the data and final rankings. Organizations included on the list were honored at a luncheon on Dec. 5.

MediaMath has grown its number of employees to more than 500 in the past year and is actively recruiting as its global expansion and market domination continue.
