NEW YORK—Jesse Comart, most recently an associate at corporate and financial PR specialist Brunswick Group, has been named vice president, global head of communications, at MediaMath. He will lead media relations, employee communications, analyst relations and government affairs for the ad tech company. Comart previously worked at Glover Park Group and as a communications aide to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

SANTA MONICA, CA—Joanna Massey has been named to the newly created position of vice president, corporate communications and investor relations at Lionsgate, where she will help develop and implement corporate media strategies and messaging across the company’s core businesses worldwide, assist with investor relations and management presentations and collaborate on theatrical publicity initiatives. Massey was previously senior vice president, media relations, at UPN and senior vice president, corporate communications and publicity, for the Hub Network.

REDWOOD CITY, CA—Relypsa, a biopharmaceutical company, has appointed Charlotte Arnold as vice president, corporate communications. Arnold joins Relypsa from Genentech, where she worked since 2006. Most recently, she led the corporate and cross-portfolio communications team, covering a wide breadth responsibilities including policy issues, managed care, distribution and access, as well as supporting corporate branding. She previously worked at public relations firms including Chandler Chicco Agency.

VANCOUVER—Lifestyle Delivery Systems, which produces a smokeless alternative option to medical and recreational users of cannabis, has named Tim Hamilton as corporate communications executive. Hamilton has been a consultant and investor in the real estate industry since 2001 and was a realtor with Century 21 Canada as well as director of Turquoise Capital Corp.
