Read on Crain’s

The software company MediaMath has completed a lease to take 106,000 square feet at 4 World Trade Center in lower Manhattan. According to Silverstein Properties, the 72-story, 2.3 million-square-foot office tower’s landlord, the company will take the building’s 44th, 45th and 46th floors for 15 years.

In return for creating an anticipated 1,000 new jobs, the company received $5.8 million in federally funded grants that were awarded to it by the Economic Development Corp. and Empire State Development, the city and state’s economic development arms, respectively.

“The state is proud to support the company’s major expansion in New York and we look forward to their continued growth,” Gov. Andrew Cuomo said in a statement.

MediaMath is the first private sector tenant to commit to space at 4 World Trade Center. The deal was first reported by Crain’s. MediaMath is one of the fastest growing companies in New York, according to Crain’s research.
