JR. QA ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

• Design and document test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
• Design, develop and maintain automated testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.
• Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
• Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
• Conduct historical analyses of test results.
• Generate and support custom data sets for use in testing core systems.
• Exhibit critical thinking in solving complex problems on tight deadlines.

Requirements:

• Major or significant course work in Computer Science or Mathematics.
• Demonstrated interest in Technology, Internet and/or Media/Advertising.
• Knowledge of Flex, Java and/or shell scripting is a plus
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux or Windows (admin).
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be self-managed and self-motivated.
• Knowledge of automation is a plus.
