The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the web industry, and have the ability to create test plans and test cases, track and report defect in an efficient manner. The candidate will join a highly talented and relentlessly innovative team of engineers, product managers, ad industry experts, and account management professionals, and should be comfortable contributing in a group setting that promotes the free exchange of ideas. 

Responsibilities include searching for, investigating, reporting, and tracking software defects. Duties will include full system and regression testing of software builds. Collaborate with developers and architects to draft test plans and test cases. We are seeking a quick learner, a great team player who is adaptable, and able to work independently.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and document test plans, test cases, scripts, or procedures.
  • Execute manual and/or automated test cases in a timely manner
  • Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers.
  • Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software performance.
  • Conduct historical analyses of test results.

 

Requirements:

  • Exhibit critical thinking in solving complex problems on tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical, organizational and conceptual skills 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills 
  • Ability to learn new technologies and product functionality in an expedient manner 
  • Ability to adjust to changing focus and/or priorities 
  • Ability to successfully multi-task and set priorities as needed. 
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, challenging and aggressively fast-paced environment
  • Good understanding of SQL
  • Experience in multiple browsers and multiple O/S’s
  • Experience working with agile development methodology a major plus.
  • Scripting experience in shell, batch, and command scripting on the UNIX environments is a plus.
  • Experience with Automation is a plus
